Hello there. My name is Becca Stripe and I am a freshman here at Palm Beach Atlantic University. I am from Virginia, right outside of Washington, DC.
PBA was my top choice college, and I am very grateful that I am here. My major is Journalism and my minor is Christian Social Ministry. I am hoping and planning to work on-air in contemporary Christian radio broadcasting after college.
It has always been a dream of mine to use my voice and faith to bring joy, love, and encouragement to listeners.
I have been writing for the Beacon, our school’s weekly newspaper, for one semester now. Although writing is not one of my best areas, I have been learning quite a lot about the journalistic point of view when it comes to writing.
I am looking forward to my second semester writing for this newspaper.
